Local nursery running for fun

Staff at the Kiddi Caru Day Nursery at Finchfield Road, Wolverhampton took part in their own 5k Race 4 Life on Wednesday 21st June.

Race 4 Life is the UK’s biggest women only fund-raising event and due to its popularity the event in Wolverhampton filled up very quickly and the staff at the nursery were unable to register. The team of girls at Kiddi Caru were determined to help raise money for Cancer Research UK so they arranged their own Race 4 Life around Bantock Park.

The girls, along with Kiddi the Kangaroo raised over £350 which will help fund the life-saving research of Cancer Research UK. As well as being a fantastic fund-raising event for a worthy cause the day turned out to be a great team-building exercise.
